Fibo Proof Block

The new generation of Fibo blocks is designed for A and A+ class buildings. The closed-pore system of the block ensures excellent building airtightness. Thanks to an improved formula, the air permeability of the block is reduced by a factor of 10. The blocks have also retained their best qualities: they are moisture-proof, frost-proof and environmentally friendly.

Fibo Plus block

Fibo Plus blocks - for more economical and easier masonry."Fibo Plus" type blocks have the same structure and properties as "Fibo 3 Mpa" blocks, but these new type blocks do not require the installation of a vertical seam. The insert system ensures much faster and more convenient installation. Due to the existing upper grooves, it is convenient to lay the blocks, and due to the air gap remaining in the middle, the thermal properties of the wall are improved.

Fibo 3 MPa blocks

Fibo blocks - blocks resistant to cold and moisture."Fibo 3" blocks are produced with a volumetric weight of 690 kg/m³ and compressive strength of 3 MPa. Blocks with a compressive strength of 3 MPa are sufficient for building load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls of one- and two-story buildings. Window supports may require more attention when the distance between the load-bearing walls is large and the door and window cavities are wide. When overlapping long panels, it may be necessary to install a monolithic ring. In this case, it is advisable to build the load zones of the tree from blocks with higher compressive strength, for example, from "Fibo 5" blocks. It should be borne in mind that "Fibo 3" blocks have better thermal insulation properties than "Fibo 5", so most private house builders choose exactly this type of blocks.

Fibo 5 MPa blocks

Fibo blocks - blocks resistant to cold and moisture."Fibo 5" blocks are produced with a volume weight of 880 kg/m³ and compressive strength of 5 MPa. "Fibo 5" blocks with greater resistance to compression are suitable for building more heavily loaded masonry parts. "Fibo 5" blocks are often used for walls that require greater sound insulation. Many soundproofing systems have been created using this product. The advantage of "Fibo" sound insulation systems compared to other materials is that their weight is significantly lower, giving more freedom in building design.

Fibo lintels

"Fibo" lintels are reinforced lightweight expanded clay beams designed to cover openings up to 2.5 m wide. For reinforcement, a spatial reinforcement frame is used, which is covered with a protective layer against corrosion. The width and height of the lintels correspond to the standard dimensions of the block system, and the length depends on the width of the opening, i.e. i.e. 1190-2990 mm. The exact list of names of the joists is given and the permissible load and deflection values are indicated in the TECHNICAL DATA section. When choosing lintels, the dimensions of the opening, the width of the wall and the load of the lintel are taken into account. Fibo lintels are not designed for heavy loads, so we recommend loading the lintels evenly and avoiding concentrated loads. If possible, 3-4 rows of blocks should be placed on the lintel to create an arch effect, due to which most of the load would be distributed and the load on the lintel would be reduced. Experiments have shown that one additional row of blocks increases the load capacity of the lintel by approximately 1.5 times. "Fibo" lintels must always be installed in the UP direction indicated on the lintel label, otherwise installation is PROHIBITED. The reinforcement in the jamb acts only in one direction and in this way the permissible load is ensured. If the purlin is installed differently, the purlin may bend under load and, in the worst case, break. There are cases where the product label is illegible or absent and it is difficult to understand how to install the lintel, but in this case the lower part of the lintel can be identified by the plastic parts (they are located at the bottom). A simple rule of thumb can be used for the length of the support surface: if the opening is less than 1.5 m, the minimum length of the support surface should be 120 mm, and if the opening is longer than 1.5 m, the minimum length of the support surface should be 250 mm. The jamb must rest on the entire block. This ensures a better distribution of the load in the masonry and also reduces the risk of cracks on the supporting surface of the lintel.
